Short and to the point

Effective 11:59pm EST June 30, 2005, INEOS entered the US/Canadian Polystyrene business through its acquisition of the BASF’s Joliet facility. The acquisition included at 14% market position, manufacture and distribution assets and 140 employees. The new business is called INEOS Styrenics.
